Police issue fresh appeal for missing Wishaw woman after sighting in Ayrshire

Police have issued a fresh appeal for the public’s help to trace a woman reported missing from the Wishaw area, after she was spotted in Ayr.

Anne Teresa McPhee, from Staffordshire, disappeared from the Netherton area of Wishaw, sparking an appeal by officers in Lanarkshire to help trace her safe and well.

A fresh confirmed sighting of the 43-year-old was registered at 12:43am on Saturday, April 16, at South Harbour, Ayr where she was captured by CCTV cameras.

She is described as 5ft6, medium build, black long hair, Irish accent, wearing black Nike puffer style jacket, navy jeans, black Nike trainers with white sole and white socks and was carrying a brown suitcase.

Officers say she has links to Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, Greater Manchester and Staffordshire.

Anyone who may have seen Anne since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 2479 of 21st April 2022.
