Police issue appeal for missing 13-year-old schoolgirl as urgent search launched

Police are concerned for Ramona’s welfare - (Greater Manchester Police)

Police are urgently appealing for information on the whereabouts of a 13-year-old girl, who has gone missing in the Greater Manchester area.

The teenager, whose first name is Ramona, was last seen in Young Street in the Farnworth area of Bolton at around 8pm on Friday, November 21.

Ramona is described as white and of very slim build, standing at around 5ft 2in, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket with black pants and trainers.

Officers are increasingly concerned for her welfare and want to ensure she is found safe and well.

Anyone with information about Ramona's whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5511, quoting incident 0690 of November 22.
