A man was taken to hospital after he was found with stab wounds in a town. Police officers were called to reports of a man being injured close to the cinema in Pimlico, Ilkeston, just before 12noon on Monday, February 27.
The man was found with two stab wounds, according to Derbyshire Police. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been released.
The police cordon, which was also in place after the incident, has been lifted. A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: "We were called to reports of a man being injured in Pimlico, close to the cinema, just before midday on Monday 27 February.
"The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been released. The police cordon has been lifted.
