Police investigating Rutherglen assault which hospitalised man

Police Rutherglen Police Scotland

Police are investigating an assault in Rutherglen which hospitalised a man.

A male was transported by road ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a result of the incident. The full extent of his injuries is currently unknown.

Officers and paramedics raced to the scene of the attack that occurred at around 3.30pm yesterday in the Mill Street area of the town.
