A two-hour gap between the time of Nicola Bulley's disappearance and the first call to police to report her missing is the latest line of enquiry being explored by investigators.
The mum-of-two was last seen with her dog Willow at 9.10am on January 27, not long after dropping off her children to school in St Michaels on Wyre, Lancashire.
Authorities have revealed that the first call relating to Nicola's disappearance came two hours later at 11am, The Mirror reports.

Police have said they are working on the possibility that Nicola fell into the river, however they are yet to find her body, after forensic divers looked at a mile-long stretch of the River Wyre.
Specialist Group International chief Peter Faulding does not believe that Nicola is in the river.
Police have warned some volunteers not to take matters into their own hands.
Yesterday, the search moved to Morecambe Bay as teams went into the sea to search for the missing 45-year-old.
A long-time friend of hers described the investigation and search as "torture" while appealing to anyone who may have seen something to speak to the police.
She informed that a campaign will be coming to rehash the details of Nicola's disappearance.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, she said: "It is two weeks today.
"The local community are coming out to raise that profile, we’re trying to jog anybody’s memory. Dashcam footage of Garstang Road, which is just outside of the village of St Michael’s on Wyre, just by the bridge that you go over.
"It is quite a key part of the village so people would remember going over it.
"Did they see anything? We’re out with banners, we’ve got placards of Nikki’s face, we’ve got a moving eight-foot LED board with her face on it with the message ‘Bring Nikki home’.!"
There is also a suggestion that Nicola could have left the area and wasn't seen as a result of three CCTV blind spots, police said.
Police are also looking into a red van that was reportedly parked in the area at the time of the disappearance.
Anyone with information is being urged to call Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 0565 of January 30th. For immediate sightings, call 999.
