Police have said they are taking accusations of blackmail "very seriously" after Alison Hammond was forced to hand over "thousands".
It comes as West Midlands Police today confirmed that they were investigating allegations involving a woman in her 40's. This comes after reports that Alison Hammond was being blackmailed.
Her co-stars took to social media to write messages of support for the presenter, reports the Mirror.
