UPDATE: Declan has now been found.
Police have launched an urgent appeal for information to help track down the whereabouts of an 11-year-old boy in Cheshire who has not been seen since meeting friends.
Declan Casey left his home at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon (April 15) to meet friends and was last seen at 9pm in the Orford area of Warrington.. He was due to return home but has not been seen since then.
Attempts from friends and family to contact him have been unsuccessful and police say they are growing ‘increasingly concerned’ about Declan’s welfare.

He is described as being 5ft 1, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his last sighting, he was wearing a white Mickey Mouse jumper, blue jeans and black Nike trainers.
Police have urged anyone with information regarding Declan to get in touch immediately.
In a statement, Cheshire Constabulary said: “We’re growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 11-year-old Declan Casey, who is missing from the Orford area of Warrington.
“Declan left home at around 2pm yesterday (Saturday 15 April) to meet friends, and was last seen at 9pm. He was due to return home yesterday evening but didn’t, and family and friends have been unable to contact him.
“Declan is described as being 5ft 1ins tall, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He’s wearing a white ‘Mickey Mouse’ jumper, blue jeans and black Nike trainers.”
Anyone who spots Declan or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 1524915, or provide information online.
