Police in Edinburgh raced to the scene of a two-car smash on a busy main road in the capital.
The incident took place on Craigentinny Road just before 8pm on Thursday, July 9.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash and the road remained closed while police cleared debris from the scene.
Images show a silver Vauxhall vehicle with damage to the front of the car and a red car also in the middle of the road.
Ambulances were called by police and it is understood there were no serious injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.50pm on Thursday, 8 June, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Craigentinny Road, Edinburgh.
They added: "Ambulances were contacted."
