Yobs who hurled a firework from a car are today being hunted by police.
The incident happened on Cullercoats' Marden Estate, on Thursday afternoon.
It was reported that the firework was thrown from a vehicle on Ennerdale Road, at around 4pm.

Northumbria Police is investigating.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "We can confirm that we received a report of a firework being thrown from a car on October 20, in the Ennerdale Road area of North Shields.
“This was reported to police after the incident had taken place. Enquiries are on-going.”
