A gang of pickpockets worked together to follow a pensioner from his bank onto a bus before snatching a large amount of cash from him.

Scotland Yard has released images of three people they would like to identify after the gang robbed a 76-year-old victim on a bus home.

The man was followed into a bank on Harrow Road, Wembley where he withdrew cash to pay his plumber at 12.20pm on May 3.

The unsuspecting victim then walked to the bus stop outside KFC on High Road and attempted to board a 18 bus.

Police said the team of pickpockets then worked together to block other people from boarding the double-decker whilst two women stole the cash from the victim, before running off.
