Police hunt 21-year-old after car driven into crowd at Berlin Pride event

  • Three of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries, while eight others were seriously injured.
  • German police identified a 21-year-old suspect who they named only as Abdul B, who is known to authorities as a member of Berlin's “Islamist scene”.
  • A wanted notice has been issued for Abdul B, who has not yet been arrested and is considered potentially armed and dangerous.
  • The incident occurred during Christopher Street Day, one of Europe's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations.
