Drivers on an Ohio interstate encountered an unexpected sight over the weekend when two police horses were spotted trotting against traffic on Interstate 90 in downtown Cleveland. The incident, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, caused a unique traffic jam as the horses navigated through slowing vehicles and eventually brought traffic to a halt.
Video footage captured by the Ohio Department of Transportation showed the horses initially near the unit's stables around 12:15 p.m. before making their way onto the interstate. The animals were seen moving westbound in the eastbound lanes, prompting a police cruiser with flashing lights to follow closely behind.
