POLICE officers stood guard outside a fish and chip shop after a furious crowd gathered outside in protest over a viral video which appeared to show the owner celebrating the death of the Queen.
A video appeared to show the owner of Jaki Fish and Chip Shop in Muir of Ord spraying a bottle of bubbly and holding a whiteboard with “Lizard Liz is Dead” written on it.
The Ross-shire business was not immediately available for comment.

In the video, shared on Twitter to the disgust of royal supporters, a woman understood to be owner Jaki Pickett was shown shouting: “London Bridge has fallen! Whoo hoo!”
She was shown shaking a bottle of fizz while someone off camera shouted: “Lizard Liz is dead!”
The video sparked outrage and is understood to have led to her furious neighbours gathering outside her shop.
The Ross-shire Journal reports she was escorted from the building by police officers.
Police Scotland confirmed their attendance but said no further action was needed.
The National Federation of Fish Fryers (NFFF) have revoked the shop's membership of the UK-wide group and said the post was in "extremely bad taste".
Andrew Crook, the president of the organisation, said: "We do believe in free speech but that post went beyond that.
"It is totally at odds with the beliefs and values that the NFFF and the fish and chip industry hold dear."
A spokesperson for the force said: “Shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday, September 8, officers attended at a business in the Seaforth Road area of Muir of Ord following a report of a large crowd gathered in the area.
“Officers remained at the scene to ensure the safety of all present and the group subsequently dispersed peacefully.
“No further police action has been required.”
