Police 'growing increasingly concerned' for Greenock man missing since last week

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for a missing man last seen five days ago in Inverclyde.

Stephen McFarlane has been missing since Thursday July 7 after being last seen around 2am on Larkfield Road in Greenock.

The 32-year-old is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in, of a slim build with short dark hair.

Stephen was wearing a white polo shirt with a grey collar, grey jogging bottoms and black Nike trainers.

Sergeant Gary Arthur, of Greenock Response Policing, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned about Stephen and are seeking the public’s assistance to help trace him safe and well.

“I would ask anyone who may have noticed someone matching this description to come forward and speak to police.

“If you have any information on Stephen’s whereabouts, please get in touch with officers.”

Police can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2416 of Monday, 11 July, 2022.
