Police have recovered thirteen stolen high value cars following a burglary in Trafford. Officers from the Neighbourhood Crime Team carried out a raid in Ashton today (August 8).
With the help of the victim, the officers found the site on Whitelands Road, secured it and locked it down. A warrant was issued and officers forced entry to find 13 high value stolen cars and vehicle parts.
Investigations are ongoing.

In a Facebook post, GMP Tameside North and East said: “Officers from the Neighbourhood Crime Team have today conducted a Warrant on Whitelands Road #Ashton. The warrant resulted in the find and seizure of 13 high value stolen vehicles from around the Greater Manchester area – as well as a significant number of vehicle parts.
“The warrant followed some good work from Tameside’s response officers, who with the assistance of the Victim, identified the site following a Burglary in the #Trafford area. The site was secured and locked down – whilst officers sought a warrant; after which entry was forced and the discovery made.
“Investigations are ongoing in relation to those involved, and further updates will be provided in due course.”
