A Belfast car park that was discovered as a drug user spot by police has once more been found to be the scene of similar criminal activity.
Belfast Live reported last month how officers from Police North Belfast came across drug paraphernalia, including needles, in North Street car park, when carrying out overnight patrols last month. The area was cleaned up, with all the rubbish disposed of and moved.
But the force have again found drug-related litter strewn across the same location, with several used needles among the items discarded. There were also elements associated with drug taking dumped at the scene.
The local council have been contacted and all the rubbish is being removed for public safety. The authorities said that they hoped that this was the final time this car park was used for such activity.
