Edmonton police say officers found stolen first-responder uniforms, high-calibre firearms and an explosive device at a home over the weekend.
Police say officers first saw three men loading suspicious items into a taxi early Saturday.
They say that when the men saw police, they ran back into the home and left bags behind.
Investigators say they found two high-powered rifles, several other firearms and an Edmonton police uniform.
Police say the home was then searched and officers discovered numerous firearms, an improvised explosive device, as well as police, fire and paramedic uniforms.
They say a fourth man at the home was wanted on outstanding warrants and was arrested.
No information was provided on other arrests or charges, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
