Police engage in high-speed car chase after black BMW takes off

BMW Police ACT Policing Crime Stoppers

Police are seeking witnesses to a high-speed car chase through southern Canberra last night.

They said a black BMW with stolen plates was spotted in Richardson, so officers gave chase. The car was only stopped after a tire puncturing device was used, but the driver fled, leaving the car abandoned.

ACT Policing appealed for anyone who knows more, including with dashcam footage, to come forward.
