On Sunday, two goats were reported for chasing people around the city of Kent, Washington, Kent Police Department stated in a post on Facebook.

"We had a couple misbehaved goats loose in Kent's North end this weekend. We are not sure where they came from, but the two of them got in into their heads that chasing people would be a good time," wrote the officers in their post.

"But no kidding around, it's not ok for people OR goats to chase others. When asked why they were being so aggressive,, one of them bleated that he was just "feeling a bit baaaaa-d today"," the post continued.

Officers arrived at the scene, detaining the animals and driving them over to the King County Animal Shelter.

"They were not booked for their nefarious acts but did receive a comfy ride to the King County Animal Shelter where their staff will locate their owners," the Facebook post concluded.

A spokesperson for the shelter, Cameron Satterfield, revealed that the goats would be placed on a three-day stray hold after which they would become adoptable, reported the Herald Sun.

"With goats though, we typically don't adopt them out ourselves - we work with partners like Puget Sound Goat Rescue to find new homes if they go unclaimed," Satterfield said.
