Police officers searching for a missing man have found a body in a wooded area near the M5. A search had been underway for Preston, 26, from Shirehampton.
Preston left his home on Friday (March 17). A missing person appeal was subsequently launched by Avon and Somerset Police.
Now, police have confirmed a body was found today (March 19) as part of the search. Preston's next of kin have been informed.

A police statement reads: "Sadly, officers searching for missing Preston, 26, found a body in a wooded area near the M5 at junction 17.
"Formal ID has yet to take place, but his next of kin have been notified and our thoughts are with them. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
