Police in Wigan have seized cocaine and cash and apprehended two suspects in a drugs raid this morning. In the early hours of June 28, Greater Manchester Police conducted a warrant at an address in Ashton-in-Makerfield and found the cash and drugs.
GMP seized a debtors list in addition to the cash and the drugs. The two suspects are currently 'waiting to be processed', the force said.
GMP Wigan West said in a social media post: “In the early hours of Tuesday June 28, 2022 Ashton Neighbourhood Officers supported by officers from the Threat Assessment Unit and District Traffic Team conducted warrants at an address in Ashton-In-Makerfield resulting in the seizure of cocaine, cash and debtors list.

“Two suspects are currently in custody awaiting to be processed for the offence of possession with intent to supply Class A cocaine.”
