A police investigation is underway after a cash machine was attacked in Lockleaze in the early hours of this morning (Saturday, March 19.)
Two people are believed to have attacked the ATM and stolen a 'quantity of cash' at a convenience store below six floors of residential flats on Morris Road. Police and firefighters were at the scene of the incident believed to have caused significant damage to the store.
Cordons are still in place this morning as of 11am. The incident happened at around 12.55am when some locals reported to have heard a 'loud bang.'
