Police condemn people flying drones over Warrington park where teenager Brianna Ghey was found dead

Police have condemned people who are continuing to fly drones over the park where a 16-year-old was found dead. Brianna Ghey's body was tragically found on a path in Linear park, Culcheth, on Saturday afternoon (February 11) and pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers launched a murder probe and have since arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, both from the local area on suspicion of murder. Police said the teenager had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Cheshire Constabulary reminded people that there is a temporary no-fly-zone in place over the area, lasting until 1pm on Wednesday (February 15) at which point it will be reviewed. It follows reports of 'a number of drones' still being flown over the Culcheth area following the news of her death.
