Police appeal after Glasgow late night train incident sparks investigation

Police investigating an incident on a Glasgow train have appealed for help in finding man they believe could help.

They released an image and have asked the public to contact them immediately if they recognise him.

British Transport Police say the incident happened on Wednesday, March 1 on a night train from Glasgow Central to Johnstone.

The man is described as 5ft 11, with short blue hair and a short brown beard, has a helix piercing and a lobe piercing on his left ear.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a khaki green T-shirt, black puffer jacket, black trousers and black boots.

British Transport Police can be contacted on 0800 40 50 40 or by texting 61016 with reference number 2300023887

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
