Police catch 16 Ayrshire drivers going over 30mph limit with one speeding at 56mph

Ayrshire cops have caught 16 drivers going over the 30mph speed limit.

Road policing officers stationed on the A736 Lochlibo Road, Burnhouse earlier this week were carrying out speed checks.

Police caught 16 drivers going over the 30mph speed limit with one going as high as 56mph.

Cops warned seven other drivers for their speed. Officers say one motorist was also warned for construction and use offence and one was warned for a licence offence.
