Police called to 'sudden death' in Top Valley street

Nottinghamshire Police were called to reports of a sudden death in a residential street. It comes as a police presence was reported in Celandine Close, in Top Valley, on Tuesday afternoon, May 2.

Officers were called to an address at 12.53pm. The force attended following reports of a woman's sudden death.

The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious, Nottinghamshire Police said. In a statement, the force said: "Police were called to Celandine Close at 12.53pm yesterday (Tuesday 2 May 2023) following reports of a woman’s sudden death.

"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
