Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died on railway tracks in east London.
Paramedics and British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to the scene near Upminster train station shortly after 11.30pm on Tuesday, February 7, to reports of a casualty.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
BTP confirmed the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson said on Friday: “Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who was at the station or in the area around the time of the incident as they may have information which could assist their investigation.
“The man was found wearing a grey hooded top, grey T-shirt, light coloured jeans, black socks and no shoes.”
