Police arrest more than 20 after Sydney to Newcastle transport crime crackdown

More than 20 people have been arrested after a police operation targeting criminal activity in key suburbs along the Sydney to Newcastle train line.

Police carried out a three-day operation from Thursday July 30 to Saturday August 1 in Newcastle, Hamilton, Gosford, Hornsby and Sydney.
