Police arrest boy, 15, after two teenagers suffer knife wounds in Stratford

Police were scrambled after two teenagers were stabbed.

Police have arrested a 15 year-old schoolboy after two teenagers were stabbed in east London.

Officers were scrambled to Victory Parade in Stratford and found the pair with knife wounds.

The suspect was later arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and will be taken into custody when he is discharged from hospital.

The incident took place just before 7.15pm on Thursday and the condition of the victims, aged 15 and 18 was decribed by police as non life threatening,

A crime scene remains in place and police are scouring CCTV and carrying out door to door inquiries as part of their investigation.
