Police arrest 13 as part of warrants initiative in three North Lanarkshire towns

Police in North Lanarkshire have apprehended a number of people in relation to warrants.

Last Tuesday, July 5, and Thursday, July 7, a warrants initiative was carried out in Bellshill, Motherwell and Wishaw.

This was led by Police Sergeant Liam Bryson and his local community police officers.

This resulted in 13 people being arrested.

Sgt Bryson said: “Our aim is to deliver a policing service to prevent and reduce re-offending. We are always looking to identify and address the matters that most affect our local community.

“If you have any information, or wish to discuss these issues with your local community policing team, we can be contacted through 101.”
