Police appeal to trace missing Isle of Bute woman

POLICE are appealing for assistance to trace an Isle of Bute woman last seen this morning.

Teressa Bennet, 60, was last seen on Loch Fad Road in Rothesay around 8.50am on Monday, June 17.

It is believed that Teressa left her red and black coloured Toyota Yaris car on East Princes Street.

She is described as being around 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build with blonde hair in a bob. She is thought to be wearing the purple jacket in the picture below.

Police Scotland said that it is possible she may have travelled to Gourock and they are becoming concerned for her welfare.

Inspector Bart Simonis said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Teressa's welfare and are keen to trace her as soon as possible.

"Please check any private CCTV or dashcam footage which may help us in tracing her."

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1628 of June 17.
