Police are appealing for witnesses after the death of a pedestrian following a crash in north London.

The incident occurred around 10.20pm on Sunday March 15, when police were called to reports of a road traffic collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Hertford Road, Enfield.

A 60-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics, but died a short time later. His next of kin have been informed, and are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries. No arrests have been made.

Now, the Met Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage from the area at the time of the collision.

Detective Sergeant Fiaz Janjua, from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the man’s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

“We are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision.

“Any detail may assist our investigation so please come forward if you can help.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or 0207 960 8044, quoting CAD6614/15MAR26.
