Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after reports a woman was assaulted in a shop. Detectives believe the man pictured may have "vital information" that would help with their investigation.
Inquiries are ongoing after the incident in Bowbridge Road, Newark, on August 26. The force is "keen" to identify the man whose appearance is "quite distinctive".
Officials have urged anyone who recognises the man to get in touch with police. Police Constable Ben Penson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our inquiries are ongoing into this assault and we are keen to identify and speak to the man pictured as we believe he may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.

"Even though the CCTV image is not of the best quality, his appearance is quite distinctive and I am urging anyone who recognises him to please get in touch with us.”
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 509 of 26 August 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
