Officers investigating a number of burglaries at a restaurant in Gateshead have issued images of two men they would like to trace in connection.
It is believed that an offender gained access to Primavera, on Durham Road in Low Fell, between 10pm on June 9 and 10am on June 10, where they damaged a window and CCTV equipment, stole alcohol and £50 in cash before leaving the area.

Then at 3.50am on June 13, police received a further report that an offender had gained access to the same premises allegedly damaging another window and stolen a large quantity of alcohol worth £300. A third incident at the restaurant was then reported in which an offender gained access between 2.30am and 2.40am on July 6, taking £300 worth of alcohol and a coat worth £50.
All three incidents were reported to police who are treating them as linked and an investigation is underway. As part of their ongoing enquiries into the incidents, police have now issued an appeal to the public, asking for their assistance.
They have also issued the images of two men who were believed to have been in the area near Durham Road at the time of the incidents and could have information which can assist. The men, or anyone who knows them, are asked to contact police by either calling 101 or using the ‘Tell Us Something’ page or by calling 101 quoting crime reference 078715R/22.
