Police appeal for information after man's leg broken in alleged assault in Cardiff

Police are appealing for information after a man was left with a broken leg following an alleged assault in Cardiff city centre. South Wales Police is looking to speak to two men in connection with the alleged assault, which took place in the early hours of Monday, May 1.

Following the incident, which occurred on St Mary Street in the city centre, police say a 21-year-old man suffered a broken leg. Along with a statement, police released a photograph of the two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

The statement from South Wales Police read: "We would like to speak with these two men in connection with an assault in Cardiff city centre during the early hours of Monday, May 1.

"A 21-year-old man suffered a broken leg during the incident on St Mary Street. Anyone who recognises them or the individuals themselves, are asked to please contact us by one of the means below quoting reference 2300140317."
