Police appeal for help in search of missing person from Sutton in Ashfield

Officers are asking for the public's help to track down a vulnerable missing person. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said officers are appealing for information about the whereabouts of Joe, who identifies as Joanne, who was last seen in the Sutton in Ashfield area at around 5:30am this morning (Saturday, January 28).

Joanne is around 5ft 11ins tall, has short dark hair and was last seen wearing a navy hooded jacket, grey stained jogging bottoms and navy Nike trainers with white ticks. They have links to both the Mansfield and Newark areas.

Chief Inspector Paul Hennessy, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are increasingly concerned for the welfare of this missing person and would like to hear immediately from anybody who has seen them or who has any information about their whereabouts.” Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote incident 156 of 28 January 2023.
