Gwent Police have launched a public appeal for help and information that may lead to finding the whereabouts of James Churchill, who has been reported as missing.
Mr Churchill, aged 25, was last seen at his home address in Rogerstone around 11pm on Sunday March 5, and officers say that they are concerned for his welfare.
The missing man is is described as being of slender build with brown hair and beard. He was last seen wearing a black “The North Face” puffer jacket, jogging bottoms and trainers. It is believed that he was also carrying a bag with him.
According to detectives investigating the disappearance, Mr Churchill has known links in the Newport area, including Rogerstone, Bassaleg, Bettws and Pill.
Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is being asked to call Gwent Police us on 101 or send a direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2300075287.
A spokesman for the police added: "James is also urged to get in touch with us to confirm that he is safe and well."
