Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was seriously injured in a collision with a lorry in east London.
Officers were scrambled to Clapton Common, Hackney, at around 9am on Monday.
The pedestrian, aged in his 70s, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating.
They want to hear from anyone who captured the collision on dash cam, or any witnesses who were nearby around the time of the collision.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
