Police appeal after e-scooter rider 'punched in the face' in Bulwell attack

Police have released an image of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with an attack on an e-scooter rider who refused to hand over the device. Officers said the 20-year-old rider suffered a broken jaw and spent six days in hospital after the incident in Highbury Road, Bulwell, at around 5.15pm on August 22.

The victim was riding an e-scooter when another man demanded that the 20-year-old give him the vehicle. The victim refused and suffered a split gum and broken teeth when the man punched him.

The victim managed to get away but the attacker caught up with him, dragged him off the e-scooter and punched him numerous times before fleeing the scene, police said. Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a man that officers would like to speak to in connection with the investigation.
