Polaris Stock Outperforms, Posting A Pair Of Profit Jumps

Something's happening at snowmobile and all-terrain RV maker Polaris. The last two quarters it's put up dazzling numbers, reversing from mediocre results until mid-last year. On Wednesday, the Relative Strength (RS) Rating for Polaris stock climbed to 71, up from 66.

The 71 RS Rating is a good but not-yet-great number. It shows that Polaris stock outperformed 71% of all stocks over the past year. Top growth stocks, the best stocks to buy and watch, typically have an RS Rating of at least 80 in the early stages of their moves.

Polaris Stock Poised For Growth

Polaris, located in Medina, Minn., near Minneapolis-St. Paul, is a leader in various recreational vehicles sold under the Polaris Snowmobiles and Timbersled Snow Bikes brands. As the pandemic recedes, and people return to the great outdoors, chances are good that Polaris stock will continue to climb and top the 80 RS mark.

Near 60% Leap In Profit Last Quarter

Sales last quarter grew 21% to $2.4 billion. The prior stanza its revenue grew 32%. Keep an eye out for the company's next round of numbers on or around April 25.

Polaris stock earns the No. 5 rank among its peers in the Leisure-Products industry group. Recreational powerboats maker Marine Products and recreational sports boats maker MasterCraft Boat are also among the group's highest-rated stocks.

The exclusive Relative Strength Rating from Investor's Business Daily tracks market leadership with a 1 (worst) to 99 (best) score. The grade shows how a stock's price movement over the trailing 52 weeks compares to all the other stocks in our database.
