The Pokémon Company has revealed four new cards heading into the highly anticipated "Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration" set, giving fans another look at what to expect from one of the biggest releases of the year.
The reveal includes three Legendary Pokémon tied to Kanto and another entry in the set's growing lineup of Pikachu promo cards, continuing a steady drip of previews ahead of the collection's worldwide launch.
'Pokémon TCG' 30th Celebration: New Legendaries Card
The Pokémon Company officially revealed Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres (via Pokebeach), adding the three legendary birds to the set's growing roster of Kanto-era Pokémon. That said, it was not yet specified in the report what collection or specific set these three cards will appear on, but they are believed to be common cards.
These reveals reinforce that the 30th Celebration set is leaning heavily into nostalgia tied to the original 151 Pokémon that kicked off the franchise three decades ago, even as the set also folds in newer additions from more recent generations.
The three birds join a lineup that already includes heavy hitters like Mewtwo ex and Mew ex, along with Umbreon ex, Salamence ex, and Greninja ex. It is known that there is already a "Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration" Poster Collection that features a different artwork for the foil card of the three birds, but these new ones are different from what it delivers.
'Pokémon TCG' 30th Celebration's New Pikachu Promo
Alongside the Legendary birds, the official "Pokémon TCG" account also revealed another entry in the set's Pikachu promo lineup, marking the 20th of 30 total unique Pikachu designs unveiled so far.
The new card shows Pikachu relaxing on a beach, complete with an attack called Tropical Vibes, giving it a laid-back, summery feel that fans have already connected to the upcoming "Pokémon Winds and Waves" game given the shared beach theme.
Like the other Pikachu cards in the collection, this design carries a sparkly firework pattern along with the large 30th Anniversary logo stamped across it.
Each of the 30 Pikachu promos features a different artist's take on the character, ranging from action poses to quieter, more whimsical scenes, with each booster pack of 30th Celebration guaranteed to include one at random.
'Pokémon TCG' 30th Celebration Is Coming This September
"Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration" is set to release worldwide on September 16, marking one of the most significant card game launches of the year for the franchise. Each booster pack will include five foil cards, one of the 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, and a foil Basic Energy card, giving every pack guaranteed value regardless of what else players pull.
The set also introduces a new rarity tier called "Futuristic Rares," alongside a Classic Collection featuring 30 reprinted cards spanning from the original Base Set all the way to more recent releases.

With less than a month remaining before launch, The Pokémon Company continues rolling out previews at a steady pace, building anticipation for what is shaping up to be one of the most collected sets in recent memory.
