"Pokémon Trading Card Game's" upcoming 30th Anniversary Celebration is set to deliver various collections for fans to enjoy. However, based on early speculations, some products are already seeing a price surge compared to current SRPs.
'Pokémon TCG' 30th Anniversary Celebration Price Surge Coming
Popular sales alert account PokeTCGAlerts shared what appeared to be a physical GameStop price sheet on X earlier this week, showing planned retail prices for select "Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration" products.
Serebii's Joe Merrick also shared the image, giving it wider credibility within the community, and also criticized The Pokémon Company's decision in this partnership with GameStop.
The most alarming figure on the list is GameStop's rumored price for the "30th Celebration" Ultra Premium Collections. Each UPC featuring Umbreon ex and Espeon ex carries an official MSRP of $180. The leaked GameStop list shows an intended retail price of $600 per UPC, a $420 markup over what The Pokémon Company is suggesting.

That would make it the most expensive retail markup GameStop has applied to a Pokémon TCG product, surpassing even the "Prismatic Evolutions" Super Premium Collection, which the retailer currently sells for $350 against an MSRP of $90.
GameStop has not confirmed the prices, and the source of the image was not identified. The prices for the other items visible on the leaked sheet sit more in line with what GameStop typically charges for high-demand sets.
