After years of waiting, Pokémon fans finally have a reason to revisit the beloved Hoenn region. Best known as the setting of "Pokémon Ruby", "Sapphire," "Emerald," "Omega Ruby," and "Alpha Sapphire," Hoenn has remained absent from major franchise releases while other regions, particularly Kanto, have received multiple remakes and new content.
Now, The Pokémon Company is shining the spotlight back on Hoenn with several new projects. Among the biggest announcements is the upcoming "Pokémon Storm Emeralda" expansion for the "Pokémon Trading Card Game" (TCG).
