For decades, people have been begging for a Pokémon MMORPG, and Nintendo never delivers. Thankfully, Temtem might fill that void when it comes out this fall.
On Tuesday, Crema announced that Temtem will launch on September 6, 2022, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. This online creature-collecting RPG has been lighting up Steam’s early access program since January 2020, and the buzz is still quite positive.
The Pokémon comparisons are not unwarranted. Exploring wide-open environments in search of capturable creatures is the primary draw in Temtem. Only you can go through the entire game with friends! Check out the release date trailer and breathe in that wholesome-adventure goodness.

Temtem also has tons of features that most creature-collecting games don’t have. There’s competitive PvP, extensive co-op options, fully-customizable housing systems, and hundreds of other ‘tamers’ will run across the world as you play. Of course, Temtem also features a story campaign, and team-up with other players is essential for success.
The launch version is adding some other stuff like more end-game content and a battle pass, though the specifics on those details are still fairly sparse. Either way, TemTem has loads of potential.
