The famed games that feature Generation I Pokémon remain popular among gamers, with the latest generation of players getting to experience the fun and magic of these titles and the original 151 Pokémon.

According to ComicBook Gaming, Nintendo may capitalize on the massive success of "Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen" to deliver more Switch and Switch 2 ports of old "Pokémon" games.
There are plenty of other titles that can be ported to the Switch, and it is not only the Game Boy titles that could be brought to the present-gen platform.
However, this will depend solely on Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. It is known that "Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen" were released as part of the franchise's 30th anniversary celebration and may be a one-time thing only.
