Jesse Marsch has said that his side are "poised to have a click or a spark" against Aston Villa. Leeds United have won just two of their last 16 games but their head coach has insisted that his squad are ready to get back to winning ways on Friday night.
The Whites travel to Villa Park as they look to record their fifth win in the league this season. Their last victory in the top-flight came during a 4-3 win against Bournemouth, having stunned Liverpool at Anfield in the game prior.
Marsch's side are now on a run of four games without a win and find themselves two points clear of 18th placed Everton in the relegation zone - albeit with a game in hand on the Toffees.

Despite their recent form, the 49-year-old is adamant that his side can get back to winning ways against the Villans, as he insisted that Leeds are ready to click into gear once again.
"First the two [wins] in 16, I would talk more about the last eight [matches]. I would say actually in the last eight our balance is not bad. I think that we are in a results way moving in the right direction.
"For me, again, trying to get performances to continue to grow and add up to be more and more so that we can be closer and closer to what we're trying to develop here is even more important, I feel like we're in a good place. We're poised to have a click or a spark happen that can that can launch us."
The American will certainly be hoping that his side find that spark on Friday night, but is all too aware of the threat that Villa themselves pose under their new manager Unai Emery.
"I would say in general, I'm seeing a team [Villa] that's more dynamic against the ball that plays a little bit differently with the ball as well. Still very effective and set-piece situations, still have a lot of quality on the pitch, a lot of really good players and when they're playing confidently they're a very good team and very difficult to deal with.
"I know Emery from playing against Villarreal in the Europa League, we [Red Bull Salzburg] lost 2-0 at home and his team was very disciplined and defensively sound, but also dangerous in counter-attacking situations and they had a lot of good players.
"He's certainly a good manager and I think he's made a positive impact on them [the Villa squad] - it'll be important for us to know that we need to be at our best."
