Manchester United have issued an injury update for their FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough on Friday night (8pm).
Set to return from the international break, the Old Trafford giants were without several senior players for the most-recent fixture against top-four rivals West Ham.
Marcus Rashford settled the scores in that Premier League showdown with a dramatic last-gasp winner.
He did so in the continued absence of Paul Pogba (thigh) and Luke Shaw (hamstring) through injury, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka (illness) also missed out on that victory over the Hammers, as did Sweden captain Victor Lindelof and £72.9million summer signing Jadon Sancho (personal reasons).
Speaking at his latest pre-match press conference, interim manager Ralf Rangnick provided an update on his squad and there is mixed news for United before this impending switch in competitions.
Pogba and Shaw are set to return, but Lindelof and Edinson Cavani (international duty) are both unavailable - while Eric Bailly (ankle) has also picked up an injury. Jesse Lingard also missed training after being afforded time off.
Here is the current state of play on the treatment table at Carrington;
Eric Bailly
Injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 8 vs Burnley
What Rangnick has said: "Eric Bailly came back yesterday, he has some problems with his ankle and will not be part of the squad."
Victor Lindelof
Injury: Illness
Possible return date: February 8 vs Burnley
What Rangnick has said: "Victor Lindelof has been ill the whole week and not training and the same is true with Jesse [Lingard] - so we could give him a couple of days off to clear his mind."
Paul Pogba
Injury: Thigh
Return date: February 4 vs Middlesbrough
What Rangnick has said: "Paul [Pogba] will be part of the group he might even be in the starting XI."
