The Chicago Bears are starting to turn a corner under Matt Eberflus, who has his team playing their best football since he took over as head coach.
After a brutal 0-4 start, Chicago has gone 5-4, including most recently back-to-back wins against NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
Justin Fields has been impressive as he fights for his job in 2024, and the defensive turnaround has been nothing short of extraordinary. Since the acquisition of defensive end Montez Sweat in Week 9, the Bears have become a top-five defense in the NFL.
It feels like Chicago could be on the verge of something special. But will Eberflus be here to see the fruits of his labor? Has Eberflus proven he’s the right man to lead the franchise in 2024 and beyond? Host Ryan O’Leary (@RyanO_Leary) and Alyssa Barbieri (@AlyssaBarbieri) discussed that and so much more on this week’s episode of the Bears Wire Podcast!
