GANDHINAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Gujarat by the month-end. His scheduled visit to Gujarat on July 15 was postponed because of the widespread rain in the state which caused a flood-like situation. Sources said that the PM will now visit Gujarat on either July 28 or 29.
Apart from inauguration of the international bullion exchange centre and India’s first International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) headquarters at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) Gandhinagar, the PM will also preside over dedication of several development projects in north Gujarat’s Sabarkantha district. The PM was scheduled to take part in these events on July 15.
Sources added that during his visit to Gujarat this month-end, the PM is also likely to visit places in Saurashtra and Kutch to inaugurate key public works.
