All seats for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's programme in Vadodara were booked within an hour of public registration opening on BookMyShow, in what the government described as a first-of-its-kind initiative, according to a report by The Times of India.
The Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) used the private digital platform to manage free registrations for the programme scheduled for Tuesday. Once all seats were booked, registration was closed, while more than 42,000 additional applicants were placed on a waiting list.
